Account & Login

How do I create an account?

Download Klar from the App Store and follow the onboarding flow. You can sign up with your email address or continue with Google.

I forgot my password. How do I reset it?

On the login screen, tap "Forgot Password" and enter your email address. You'll receive a password reset link within a few minutes. Check your spam folder if you don't see it.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Settings > Delete Account. This will permanently remove all your data from our servers. This action cannot be undone.

Tracking & Progress

How is my clean streak calculated?

Your streak counts the number of consecutive days since your sobriety start date. Daily check-ins help maintain your streak and track your progress.

Can I change my sobriety start date?

Yes. Go to Settings and tap on your start date to update it. Your streak and progress will recalculate automatically.

What happens if I relapse?

We understand that recovery isn't always linear. You can reset your sobriety date in Settings at any time. Your journey data helps you understand patterns and triggers.

Notifications

How do I enable/disable notifications?

Go to Settings > Notifications to customize which notifications you receive. You can also manage notifications in your device's Settings > Klar.

I'm not receiving notifications. What should I do?

  • 1.Check that notifications are enabled in Settings > Notifications
  • 2.Verify Klar has notification permissions in your device Settings
  • 3.Make sure Do Not Disturb is not blocking notifications

Privacy & Data

Is my data private?

Yes. Your personal health data is encrypted and stored securely. We do not sell your data to third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

What data do you collect?

We collect only the data necessary to provide our services: your account information, sobriety tracking data, and app usage analytics to improve the experience.

How do I export my data?

Contact us at support@liveklar.com to request a copy of your data.

Technical Issues

The app is crashing. What should I do?

  • 1.Make sure you have the latest version from the App Store
  • 2.Try closing and reopening the app
  • 3.Restart your device
  • 4.If the issue persists, contact us with your device model and iOS version

The app is running slowly.

Try clearing the app cache by going to Settings > Clear Cache, or reinstall the app from the App Store.
